Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) is an advanced, non-invasive, primary or secondary treatment for raised intraocular pressure (IOP) in glaucoma. It uses short laser pulses of a specific wavelength to selectively target pigmented trabecular meshwork cells without causing widespread thermal damage. Standard SLT utilises a low-energy laser with a short pulse duration of 3-5 ns.
Articulated arms are delivery systems guiding light from the laser source to the point of application.
Optotek articulated arms are synonymous with high precision and reliability featuring: smooth movements, large working area, no loss of intensity or degradation of mode quality, counterbalance by either spring or weight mechanisms, sealed articulated arms for outdoor and dusty applications as an option.

Laser transcanalicular DCR, minimally invasive technique, can be performed under endoscopic control or with transnasal visualization of the fiber position alone. The aiming beam transilluminates the nasal mucosa and bone indicating the position of the proximal end of the fiber inside the lacrimal duct and giving operator precise control over the procedure.
We build solid, impartial and respectful relationships with our customers, business partners, and social environment by paying attention to their wishes, requests and expectations.
